Our Leadership

Craig Madson PE, MSCE – President & Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Craig has worked for AESI and its predecessor since 1995 and specializes in geotechnical exploration and analysis, as well as laboratory testing of soils and on-site construction monitoring.

Chris Brown PE, PHD – Principal Water Resource Engineer

Chris, an engineer since 1991, oversees the Water Resources Engineering Department and serves as project manager or principal-in-charge for hydraulic and hydrologic projects, as well as dam safety studies.

Mark Fasting PE, MSCE – Principal Civil Engineer

Mark, a principal engineer and project manager, began his career in 1996 and has extensive experience managing a variety of large- and small-scale civil and environmental projects.

Greg Finck – Principal Surveyor

Greg has been surveying since 1982 and has extensive experience in all phases of land surveying, including land use design and construction from initial scope to final plan.
